Sue has written several painting articles for Leisure Painter
and The Paint Magazines.

Teaching teaches weekly art classes for Further Education,
weekend workshops and Residential holidays in the UK and abroad,

Chris
Mason has been working as a commercial photographer and tutor
for many years. Chris will be joining us to tutor courses in
May and September 2009, he will be working with digital cameras
(although you can bring your film camera if you like). Chris
will provide expert guidance, demonstrations and one to one
tuition, explain the practice of composition, lens choice, exposure
control and how to get the best from your camera along with
a good deal of encouragement and practical tips.
Of
course you’ll benefit from being part of a small group
with the tutors captive attention. This unique cruise will
through, Scotland’s stunning scenery and access to normally
inaccessible places on the west coast, help to develop your
wildlife, landscape and general photography skills.
If you have a laptop,
bring this along to work on your image editing skills.
A suggested equipment list can be provided on booking.
Chris has worked
as a commercial photographer since 1982 and has run his own
business since 1988. He has built up a large client base over
the last 20 years and works across the UK. Chris has taught
(part time) photography skills at both York and Ripon Colleges
through weekly classes and weekend workshops for many years.
